Ballerini Finally Addressed the Incident on Instagram
Ballerini was punched in the face by a bracelet thrown from an audience member while performing in Boise, Idaho, Wednesday, in a video of the incident posted to social media.

The country star addressed the incident on Instagram, saying she was more afraid of danger and ran off stage to "calm down."
"Hi. I'm fine. Someone threw a bracelet, it hit me in the eye, and it scared me more than it hurt," she wrote on her Instagram Story. "We all have triggers and layers of fear that are much deeper than described, which is why I took the stage to calm me down and make sure me, the band, crew, and audience all felt safe to move on. That's all I want. , so that the show feels like a safe place for all of us."
