As reported by The Athletic, Messi's presentation as a new Inter Miami player will be broadcast during halftime of the 2023 Concacaf Gold Cup final match.
Currently, MLS is reportedly in discussions with Concacaf and two television stations, Fox and Univision, to air part of Messi's introduction event amid a live broadcast of the Gold Cup final.
Meanwhile, local media outlet Miami Herald reported that the megastar is contracted for two years and the option of an additional season.
Messi is also said to receive total income, which includes salary, bonuses, and equity in the team, between 125 million US dollars and 150 million US dollars.
In addition, the deal between Messi and Inter Miami also includes commercial contracts with Apple and Adidas, which are the main partners of Major League Soccer (MLS) in the United States.
