  • 1 chicken
  • 2 onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 onion cloves

  • 3 tablespoons of flour
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 tablespoon paprika or chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional)
  • 3 sprigs celery
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for sautéing
  • Sufficient water

Cut and Season Chicken for Fricassee

Cut the chicken into pieces, making sure to take only the meat, especially the thighs and breasts. The bone part can be used to make broth.
