LASK vs Liverpool: 3-1

The match between LASK and Liverpool was held at Raiffeisen Arena. Liverpool was surprised by the Austrian club's opening goal scored by Floria Flecker in the first half.

Liverpool bounced back after halftime. Three goals in reply came from Darwin Nunez (penalty), Luis Diaz, and Mohamed Salah respectively.

This victory catapulted Liverpool to the top of the Europa League Group E standings. Liverpool collected three points, while LASK was bottom with no points.

LASK wasted a golden opportunity after Robert Zulj's finish from in front of goal bounced. However, a moment later Florian Flecker made up for it by scoring against Liverpool.

From a corner on the left wing, Flecker received the ball outside the penalty area. Flecker followed up with an accurate right-footed shot that Coaimhin Kelleher failed to reach. LASK outscored Liverpool 1-0 in the 14th minute.

Liverpool created its best chance of the game in the 36th minute. Virgil van Dijk's header at the near post was met by Darwin Nunez with a header from in front of the goal. Goalkeeper Tobias Lawal reacted appropriately to save Nunez's effort.

The score was 1-0 for LASK's lead to last until half-time.

After the restart, Liverpool immediately pressed LASK. The referee pointed to the white spot after Luis Diaz was fouled by Philipp Ziereis.

Darwin Nunez came forward as executor. The Uruguayan striker fired a powerful 12-pass shot toward the right that Lawal could guess. However, the ball rolled too fast to nest in the middle of the LASK goal and changed the score to 1-1 in the 56th minute.

LASK responded with the individual action of Elias Hoval. A shot from outside the box was taken but saved by Kelleher. The rebound ball could be swept away by the Liverpool defense before being controlled by Martin Ljubicic.

Finally, Kelleher's substitute made a brilliant save. Starting from a corner, the ball fell in the middle of the penalty area, giving birth to a crisis. A short thrust to Ljubicic was followed by a left-footed strike. Kelleher dispelled it with his feet.

GOAL! In the 64th minute, Liverpool turned to take a 2-1 lead over LASK. A quick and neat counterattack on the left wing was finished off by Stefan Bajcetic with a cross into the middle of the box.

Luis Diaz got past the control of his keepers, then easily snatched Ryan Gravenberch's pass with a flick into the top corner of LASK's goal.

Liverpool sealed the victory after creating the third goal from the foot of Mohamed Salah. A slick partnership between Dominik Szobozslai and Darwin Nunez ended with a cross.

Salah beat his guards, then passed several LASK players before firing flat from in front of the goal. LASK 1, Liverpool 3.
