Starting from Joselu's hard shot that was denied by Gazzaniga, the striker then took back the pukeball and sent it to Bellingham who then scored with a first-time shot.
Madrid played with 10 men after Nacho was sent off in injury time for a hard tackle on Cristian Portu. The situation caused an uproar between the two teams, with Antonio Rudiger and Cristhian Stuani shown yellow cards.
But the score of 3-0 remained until it was over. This result brings Madrid to have collected 21 points while shifting Barcelona from the top of the standings. Girona dropped to third with 19 points.
