The Continental: The Hotel Bar Experience to open in New York City
On September 21, 2023 — and through a select date in early October — a cocktail lounge called Welcome to The Continental: The Hotel Bar Experience inspired by Keanu Reeves' beloved John Wick franchise will open in New York City.
The bar is located at 82 Beaver Street in NYC's Financial District, which serves as the exterior of the hotel in the franchise.

Guests inside will be taken to The Continental: From The World of John Wick — a prequel series from Peacock that premieres Sept. 22, 2023 — which uncovers how hotel-for-assassins, a key element of John Wick's world, came to fruition in the chaotic world of New York City in the 1970s.
Tickets are now on sale for those aged 21+ with prices starting at $15.
Earlier this month, Peacock released the trailer for The Continental: From the World of John Wick, which follows series legend Winston Scott, played by Colin Woodell, who explores the criminal underworld of the 1970s.
Mel Gibson appears in the trailer — who plays Cormac — tasking Winston with recovering objects stolen from The Continental by Winston's brother Frankie.
Cormac described the object as "very important to a lot of dangerous people."
Winston (originally portrayed by Ian McShane in four John Wick films) is "dragged into the hell of 1970s New York City to confront the past he thought he had left behind," reads the official synopsis for the three-part miniseries.
"Winston charts a deadly path through the mysterious underground world of the hotel in a gruesome attempt to seize the hotel where he will eventually take his future throne."
John Wick series producer Basil Iwanyk said in a statement that the series "will finally have space to explore these characters, how they came to be, and how The Continental became the epicenter of this world" in a separate timeline from the four Keanu Reeves films he said would take place over three months.
"Combine that with introducing new characters that are just as exciting as any other character in the John Wick universe," Iwanyk added.
"Very cool and inventive action. Easter eggs that will excite die-hard John Wick fans. And what I love the most: a '70s New York vision that embodies the sexiness, suspense, and deep style for which the franchise is famous."
