Portugal maintained its perfect run in the Euro 2024 Qualifying. Portugal won 2-0 over Liechtenstein in a match marked by a goal from Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Liechtenstein vs Portugal match in Group J of the Euro 2024 qualification was held at Rheinpark Stadium, Vaduz, on November 16, 2023.
Portugal has already secured qualification for the Euro 2024 finals. Portugal coach Roberto Martinez also made seven changes to the line-up from the previous match.

The first half ended in a 0-0 draw. Portugal had the best chance in the 30th minute, but Goncalo Ramos' header was still off the mark.
Portugal only broke the deadlock in the 47th minute through Cristiano Ronaldo. Diogo Jota dribbled from the left side and then fired a through pass to Ronaldo. Ronaldo then fired a left-footed shot past Benjamin Buchel.

Joao Cancelo doubled Portugal's lead in the 57th minute. Cancelo fired a shot from a tight angle on the right side with his left foot. The ball rolled into the empty goal left by Buchel.
Portugal had added a goal in the 82nd minute after Goncalo Ramos completed Vitinha's free kick. However, VAR later disallowed the goal for offside.
This was Portugal's ninth win from nine matches in Group J of Euro 2024 qualifying. Roberto Martinez's men top the table with 27 points. While Liechtenstein became caretaker with zero points.
