Bournemouth faced pressure from Manchester City for most of the game, creating a consolation goal from Luis Fernando Sinisterra after 70 minutes.
Thanks to this victory, Manchester City topped the Premier League standings. Manchester City have 27 points from 11 games, one ahead of Tottenham Hotspur (2) and Arsenal (3) who will play later. Bournemouth occupy 17th place with six points, just one point clear of Luton Town in the relegation zone.

Manchester City immediately took the initiative to attack after kickoff. However, it was not until after 20 minutes that dangerous opportunities were born. Erling Haaland's header met Julian Alvarez's pass hit the Bournemouth post.
Manchester City's deadlock was broken. In the 30th minute, Jeremy Doku scored to make it 1-0.
From the left side of the penalty area, Doku teamed up with Rodri. Doku then finished Rodri's pass with a curling shot that hit Chris Mepham before going into the Bournemouth goal.
Only three minutes later, Manchester City successfully expanded its lead. Bernardo Silva forced Ionu Radu to pick up the ball from his net for the second time.

It was Doku's turn to be the creator of Manchester City's second goal. The Belgian winger swiped the ball to deceive Mepham, then sent a flat cross into the center of the penalty area. Bernardo Silva got out of control and met Doku's pass with a left-footed shot into the bottom corner of the net. The score is now 2-0.
Manchester City is going crazy. In the 37th minute, Manchester City gave birth to the third goal to beat Bournemouth 3-0. Bernardo Silva's flat pass to Jeremy Doku was followed by a right-footed shot.
The ball rolled fast and then hit Manuel Akanji's body and turned so that it outwitted Radu before penetrating the Bournemouth goal.
Bournemouth finally made a fight in the last five minutes. From the counter-attack scheme, Alex Scott's partnership with Ryan Christie was passed by Dominic Solanke with a header. The ball only went into Ederson's arms.
In injury time, Haaland got a chance to create a goal after receiving a mature pass from Bernardo Silva. However, Illia Zabarnyi made a brilliant block to thwart him. The score was 3-0 for Manchester City's lead to last until halftime.
Manchester City did not relax the pressure despite being far ahead of Bournemouth. After an hour, Manchester City created the fourth goal to take a 4-0 lead over Bournemouth.
Jeremy Doku received a flat pass down the left wing before unleashing a cross that met Phil Foden. From the center of the box, Fode finished with a left-footed strike nestled in the top side of the Bournemouth net.
Amid Manchester City's attack, Bournemouth was able to steal a goal in the 74th minute. Taking advantage of the opponent's high defensive line, Maximillian Aarons received a mature pass from behind.
Aarons then sent a cross from the right wing that met Sinisterra. The latter outwitted Kyle Walker before finishing with a flat shot to make it 1-4.
Manchester City extended its lead to 5-1 in the final eight minutes. Bernardo Silva scored his second goal of the match. Doku keenly fired a mature pass from behind that freed Bernardo Silva up front.
Bernardo dribbled and then fired a left-footed shot from a tight angle. Zabarnyi made a sweep, but the ball had already crossed the goal line. Mattheus Nunes met the ball with a volley, but it was Silva who got the goal.
In the 88th minute, Nathan Ake completed Manchester City's victory to 6-1. From the right wing, Nunes' partnership with Oscar Bobb ended with a cross into the 6-yard box. Ake beat Senesi's guard and headed the ball in from close range.
