New facts about Matthew Perry's death were revealed in the autopsy results. The death certificate states Matthew's official cause of death is pending a toxicology report.

Toxicology testing is currently underway and is said to take up to several months to get results. As a result, the cause of death of the 'Friends' actor is still a 'mystery'.
Matthew Perry Dies with Initial Suspicion of Drowning
Previously, Matthew Perry was found dead at his home in Los Angeles, on Saturday (28/10) afternoon local time.

According to TMZ, Perry was found lifeless in the bathroom tub with the initial suspicion of drowning. Police arrived at the scene after receiving a call for a heart attack.
According to a Page Six report, Matthew Perry on Saturday (28/10) morning was seen returning to his home after playing pickleball for two hours with his assistant.
Police said there was no indication of crime or suspicion when they found Matthew Perry dead at his home. Initial drug tests on Perry's body also found no indication of an overdose.
