Haaland stunned the home side after scoring in the second minute of the second half. Nicolas Jackson scored Chelsea's counter-goal before Rodri put Man City back in front. Cole Palmer became the Blues' savior after converting an injury-time penalty.

After 20 minutes, Man City claimed a penalty following Marc Cucurella's foul on Erling Haaland, which was later approved by VAR. Haaland came forward as executor and then sent Sanchez tumbling in the wrong direction. Man City led 1-0 in the 25th minute.

Man City's lead did not last long. Less than five minutes later, Chelsea equalized the score to 1-1. From a corner on the right wing, Thiago Silva headed the ball in the 6-yard box into the far corner of Ederson's goal.
Man City created a good chance in the 33rd minute. Phil Foden combed down the right flank and then sent a cross that Sanchez couldn't reach. Haaland tried to make a tap, but he stood too close to the post so the ball came out.
Chelsea's defense was threatened again, this time by Foden's kick. Sodoran Rodri from the D area was followed by Foden with a curved right-footed shot. The ball is still off the mark.
Chelsea turned to outscore Man City 2-1! In the 37th minute, Raheem Sterling broke the goal of his former team.
Starting from a long pass from behind, Reece James had the ball before releasing a flat cross. Sterling stood free enough in the penalty area so that he easily hit the middle of the opponent's goal.
Robert Sanchez made a stunning save in the final five minutes. A pass from the middle was received by Haaland and then beat two Chelsea central defenders. In a free position, Haaland fired a fierce shot but was parried by Sanchez.
Man City equalized! Ahead of halftime, Manuel Akanji scored Man City's second goal to make it 2-2. A corner from the left wing was passed forward. Bernardo Silva sent a rebound pass into the middle of the box before Akanji finished with a header.
Good start Man City. Just a minute after the second-half kickoff, Man City turned to take a 3-2 lead over Chelsea. Haaland scored his second goal of the match after maximizing Julian Alvarez's cross, which teamed up with Bernardo Silva.
Man City's wave of attacks troubled Chelsea again. Haaland's pass was received by Jeremy Doku on the right wing. Doku then took a stab into the box before unleashing a flat shot that Sanchez caught.
Chelsea responded. Cole Palmer swerved to break through the Man City defense to go one-on-one with Ederson. Unfortunately, Palmer's solution was too weak for Ederson to easily resist.
GOAL! Chelsea balanced the game in the 67th minute. Substitute Mykhailo Mudryk teamed up with Moses Caicedo, and then Conor Gallagher followed up with a fierce shot from outside the box. Ederson brushed it off, the rebound ball was intercepted by Nicolas Jackson with a shot from in front of the goal. Chelsea 3, Man City 3.
Chelsea created a golden opportunity after 70 minutes of the game. Sterling grabbed the ball outside the Man City penalty area, then freed Malo Gusto. The latter player fired a left-footed curved shot, and the ball bounced.
Rodri! Manchester City scored the fourth goal in the 86th minute. A one-two partnership with Haaland ended with Mateo Kovacic with a blocked shot. The rebound was passed by Rodri with a shot from the D area, which Thiago Silva deflected to outwit Sanchez. Man City took a 4-3 lead over Chelsea.
Penalty for Chelsea in injury time. The referee pointed to the white spot after Ruben Dias fouled substitute Armando Broja. Cole Palmer came forward as executioner. Palmer fired a left-footed shot into the top corner of Man City's goal to make it 4-4.
At the end of injury time, Man City got a free kick from a quite dangerous position. Kyle Walker's shot went over Chelsea's live fence and the ball bounced over the crossbar.
