PSG opened the lead in the 18th minute. Philipp Kohn failed to catch Ousmane Dembele's shot well, so a wild ball was struck by Goncalo Ramos to break Monaco's goal.

The visitors equalized the score in the 22nd minute. PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma made a blunder after receiving pressing from Florian Balogun. His pass went to Takumi Minamino, who immediately fired a hard shot into the left corner of the goal. The score became 1-1.

Monaco did not necessarily give up. Florian Balogun scored in the 76th minute after receiving Minamino's through pass. He then fired a flat shot into the right corner of the goal to beat Donnarumma.

But only then did Monaco's resistance. PSG scored an additional goal in second-half injury time through Randal Kolo Muani's fierce shot, which took advantage of the crisis in front of Monaco's goal.

The 5-2 score closed this match, ensuring PSG comfortably at the top of the Ligue 1 standings with 30 points. While Monaco failed to get close and was stuck in third place with 24 points.
