After Six Years of Dating, Hyeri and Ryu Jun Yeol Break Up
After six years of dating, Hyeri and Ryu Jun Yeol broke up. The love affair between the two South Korean celebrities reportedly ended.
Reporting from News1 on Monday (11/13/2023), Hyeri and Ryu Jun Yeol chose to end their romance not long ago. The news of the breakup was later clarified by each management, namely Creative Group ING and C-JeS Studios.

"That's right, they broke up," said the two compact management.
"Reply 1988" Became Hyeri and Ryu Jun Yeol's Beginning of Meeting
Hyeri and Ryu Jun Yeol first played together in the popular Korean drama Reply in 1988. The two are said to be involved in a love triangle in the drama released in 2016.
A year later, the two were rumored to be dating. The management of each artist later confirmed the news after Hyeri and Ryu Jun Yeol's dating photos were released by Dispatch.

When the dating photos were released, Ryu Jun Yeol and Hyeri appeared to be trying to hide their respective identities from the public. The two were caught on camera dating in a park in March 2017.
"Hello, this is C-Jest Entertainment. We confirm Ryu Jun Yeol and Hyeri's news. Recently, Ryu Jun Yeol and Hyeri's relationship changed from friends to lovers. We apologize to fans for this news. The two started dating recently. So we hope the fans can support them. Thank you," the management said at the time.
Since the dating news broke, Hyeri and Ryu Jun Yeol have often been seen together. When the cast of Reply 1988 held a get-together in the summer of 2020, both of them attended.
Through his Instagram account, Lee Dong Hwi uploaded a photo with Park Bo Gum, Go Kyung Pyo, Hyeri, Lee Dong Hwi, and Ryu Hye Young. They posed inside photo booths and in front of mirrors.
Although not in the photo, Ryu Jun Yeol was also rumored to be present at the reunion. According to photos taken by one of the fans, it appears that the actor gathered at a café.
