Arsenal agree on a fee with West Ham for Declan Rice transfer
Finally, Arsenal agreed a fee with West Ham for the transfer of Declan Rice. The Gunners will pay £105 million to bring the midfielder to the Emirates.
The fee consists of £100m in cash, plus £5m in bonuses. This is the third bid after two previous bids were flatly rejected by the Hammers.

Although there are several details that they have to talk about further, reportedly the issue will not change the agreement between the two parties.
West Ham needs fresh funds, the reason Declan Rice should be released
Quoted from the Daily Mail, the contract to be signed by Declan Rice will be paid in terms, which is for four years. This is a shorter time because at first, they have been trying to pay in installments for six years.
West Ham needs fresh funds as they are facing several Financial Fair Play issues. As such, they want the bulk of the £100m fee paid sooner than that and are asking for two installments to be paid before the start of 2025.

Arsenal themselves reportedly do not mind helping West Ham. The two clubs will discuss further the timing of the payment they will agree.
The agreement between the two parties came about because of the encouragement made by Rice to West Ham. Rice is desperate to play under Mikel Arteta after the pair had lengthy talks over the Arsenal project if he arrived at the Emirates.
