One of Mbappe's agenda in Cameroon is to play football against FC Vent d'Etoudi on Friday (7/7/2023) afternoon. The Cameroonian second-division club is led by Yannick Noah.

After that, Mbappe will leave for Douala City, Saturday (07/08/2023) to visit a school. Mbappe will also look at the hometown of his father, Wilfried Mbappe, in Djebale.

Mbappe's tour to Cameroon is just one day away from PSG's ultimatum.

On Wednesday (5/7/2023), Mbappe's club, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), issued a strong statement through the President, Nasser Al Khelaifi.

"We want him (Mbappe) to stay but he can't leave for free. There has been a verbal agreement and he has discussed it in an interview," Nasser Al Khelaifi said.

"He alone will decide next week, or in two weeks at the latest," Al Khelaifi said giving a deadline for Mbappe.

Yes, Mbappe came to Cameroon with a matter that he must immediately resolve, namely related to the future with PSG.

Mbappe some time ago firmly stated that he would not activate the option of a contract extension with PSG until 2025.

The player born in 1998 claimed to be completing his tenure with PSG until 2024, then left on a free transfer.

Mbappe's desire is very contrary to PSG management who do not want to lose and lose the megastar in 2024 for free.

Therefore, PSG's attitude is firm. Mbappe leaves in the 2023 summer transfer window or renews his contract with PSG.

So far, Real Madrid has been the club most heavily linked with Mbappe. However, the Spanish capital club are also yet to make any concrete maneuvers.

Spanish journalist, Edu Aguirre, said Liverpool is also interested in Mbappe and ready to release an offer of 200 million euros. The ball is now in Mbappe. He has about two weeks to decide his future.
