This fast-food restaurant brand from the United States deliberately wants to make something different with the presence of the new restaurant it creates.
CosMc's DNA Becomes McDonald's DNA with a Unique Personality
According to Chris Kempczinski, CEO of McDonald's, "CosMc's is a small format concept with all of McDonald's DNA, but with its unique personality."
McD management will trial CosMc's in multiple locations in a "limited geographic area" starting in early 2024.

McDonald's said it would share more details about the plan at an investor gathering in December 2023.
The name for the new brand is taken from the figure of CosMc, the McDonaldland mascot that appeared in advertisements in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
CosMc is an alien from outer space who is depicted craving McDonald's food.
McD revived CosMc after the return of another McDonald's mascot, Grimace, and shook up its business in the United States.
In June, the fast-food chain introduced the Grimace Birthday Meal, which consists of a bright purple milkshake.
Grimace and his combination menu went viral on social media and increased sales traffic at McD's restaurants in the US.
