The news of Michelle Yeoh and Jean Todt's marriage was first announced by former Formula One driver Felipe Massa on Instagram. The wedding was held in Geneva, Switzerland, in the presence of family and friends.

"Happy marriage Jean Todt and Michelle Yeoh, love you guys so much," the Brazilian wrote in the caption.

Michelle Yeoh and Jean Todt's introduction began in Shanghai, China, on June 4, 2004. The Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon star was undergoing a series of promotions at the Shanghai Grand Prix for Ferrari, where Jean worked as general manager.
"A man tried to clear the stage and was being rude, so Jean came up to him and scolded him. He's as tall as me, and the fact that he can be assertive with someone bigger than him was my first impression of him – and that's good," Michelle Yeoh said of her first meeting with Jean.
Since then they have grown closer until many years later. Jean Todt proposed to Michelle Yeoh on July 26, 2004. Although Michelle directly answered Jean's proposal with a 'YES', their relationship status persisted as fiancées for almost two decades, before finally officially getting married.
