Ronaldo makes Al Nassr qualify for Arab Champions League semi-finals
Finally, Ronaldo made Al Nassr qualify for the semifinals of the Arab Champions League. A goal from Cristiano Ronaldo managed to make King Casablanca eliminated with a score of 3-1, Sunday (6/8).

Al Nassr has fielded Sadio Mane to accompany Ronaldo up front. Mane's presence makes Al Nassr's attack even more dangerous.
Al Nassr's lead thanks to Ronaldo's goal in the 19th minute.
Ronaldo himself opened Al Nassr's lead in the match with his goal in the 19th minute. Receiving the ball from Talisca, Ronaldo fired a left-footed shot that King of Casablanca goalkeeper Anass Zniti could not stop.
Al Nassr then doubled the lead through Sultan Al Ghannam in the 29th minute. Getting the ball from Abdullah Ak Khaibari, Al Ghannam ran down the left side of the King of Casablanca's defense and fired a flat cross. The ball nestled in the right corner of the goal.

Al Nassr added another goal in the 38th minute, this time through Seko Fofana. Fofana scored with a header from Alex Telles' assist.
The King of Casablanca had reduced the lead to 1-3 after Abdullah Madu scored an own goal in the 41st minute. But no additional goals were scored so Al Nassr qualified for the semi-finals.
In the semi-finals, Al Nassr will meet an Iraqi club, Al Shorta. The Al Nassr vs Al Shorta match will take place on Wednesday (9/8/2023).
