There is good news from Inter Milan. Yann Sommer was officially recruited by Inter Milan. Yann Sommer is a Swiss goalkeeper.

Inter Milan's certainty of bringing Yan Sommer was conveyed through the club's official website on Tuesday (8/8/2023).
"Swiss goalkeeper [Yann Sommer] has joined permanently from FC Bayern Munich," Inter Milan said in a statement.

Yann Sommer's background is quite interesting. The goalkeeper born on December 17, 1988, in Switzerland is a hometown friend of the great tennis athlete, Roger Federer.
Moreover, the position of goalkeeper is already very close to Yan Sommer. The reason is, his father and uncle each have the position of goalkeeper.
Yann Sommer revealed the reason for joining Inter Milan in the 2023 summer transfer window.
The former FC Basel goalkeeper explained Inter Milan's history was the main factor in him anchoring Simone Inzaghi's team.

"There are several things that prompted me to come to Inter Milan," said Yann Sommer quoted from the Inter Milan rummy site.
"This is an important club at Italian and international level, with a great tradition," explained the former Brazilian. Yann Sommer believes that he will receive a significant test when he plays next season with Inter Milan.
"Playing for a team like Inter Milan is a new challenge for me," he said. "I can't wait to play at home and I want to see the fans and also feel the atmosphere of Milan," he said.
Yann Sommer was brought by Inter Milan to replace the role of Andre Onana who chose to move to Manchester United.
He then revealed the full attributes he has as a goalkeeper. "I'm an explicit goalkeeper and I try to help my teammates by playing with my feet," he said. "I try to convey confidence and energy to them. I always try to be consistent," he explained.
