Apple has given the green light to Samsung to start production of Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) screens for the iPhone 15 series.
Samsung is believed to produce four types of screen sizes that will be introduced in the iPhone 15 series.
Based on information circulating, other OLED suppliers for the iPhone 15, namely LG and BOE, are reportedly still waiting for product validation testing.
For the BOE, based on unnamed internal information, the delay in OLED production for the iPhone 15 occurred due to problems with the final result.

Most of the finished panels have light cracks around the pieces for the Dynamic Island section.
If the right solution is not found in a short time, then it is likely that Samsung will become the only OLED supplier for the iPhone 15 series.
Some experts in the display industry even predict that the BOE may not continue its contract if Samsung manages to fulfill the remaining orders.
But, that is still a prediction and the truth will be seen in the coming months.
