Google Doodle Celebrates Google Inc.'s 25th Anniversary
Google Doodle celebrates Google Inc.'s 25th anniversary today, Wednesday (27/9/2023), celebrating Google's 25th anniversary. This special doodle looks very special by showing the changing Google logo.
Starting from the old Google logo to the modern one with similar colorful characteristics. At the end of the doodle animation, you will see Google writing using the number 25 instead of the letter 'oo' in the middle.
If you click on the Google Doodle, you will be greeted with colorful paper animations that scatter to fill part of the gadget screen.
"Today's Doodle celebrates Google's 25th year. Although we at Google are future-oriented, birthdays can also be a time for reflection. Let's go down memory lane to find out how we were born 25 years ago," Google wrote, quoted from its official blog.
Google was formed on September 27, 1998, by two best friends Sergey Brin and Larry Page. They met at Stanford University's computer science program in the late '90s.

"They share the same vision: to make the World Wide Web a more accessible place. Brin and Page worked tirelessly from their dorm rooms to develop prototypes of better search engines.
As they made progress on the project, they moved operations to Google's first office--a rented garage. On September 27, 1998, Google Inc. was officially born.
"A lot has changed since 1998, including our logo as seen in today's Doodle. However, its mission remains the same: organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful," Google explains.
Today, billions of people around the world use Google to browse, connect, work, and play.
Google's development
As Google CEO Sundar Pichai wrote earlier this month, he called it a great honor to achieve this achievement and the company is not doing it alone.
"We may be a technology company, but Google is what it is today thanks to its people: our people, our partners, and most importantly, everyone who uses our products," Pichai said.

"So as we celebrate our 25th anniversary today, we also celebrate 25 years of your curiosity. After all, it is your curiosity that drives us forward."
Pichai said that in 2000 so many people rushed to Google to find photos of Jennifer Lopez's Grammy dress that it became the most popular search query. That search yielded 10 blue links, but no green links.
"So our engineers got to work, brainstorming new ways to index images alongside web pages, and Google Image was born, which lets you find the one photo you're looking for faster than ever before," Pichai says.
The cycle repeated over the past quarter century
That's a cycle that's repeated at Google for the past quarter century. Many people who want to know how to tie the knot or plan a place to get married want to stay healthy or stay informed.
"We're celebrating it in a way you'd probably expect for the last quarter century. Our homepage doodle today honors the evolution of the Google logo, and if you search for (or hum) birthday-related questions, you might see a bit of a surprise. But most of all, we want to say thank you," Google wrote.
"We're also humbled by the opportunities that lie ahead, and the potential for AI to help us continue to deliver on our mission and improve the lives of more people around the world," Google continued.
As Sundar Pichai writes, "Our search for answers will drive tremendous technological progress over the next 25 years. We are excited to build a future with you."
