Madrid could have doubled after the break through a strike from Jude Bellingham in the 61st minute. Two minutes later Braga could respond to reduce the gap from Alvaro Djalo's goal in the 62nd minute.

But after that, no goals were scored. Madrid ended the match with a 2-1 victory. This result puts Madrid firmly at the top of Group C standings with nine points. Braga is third with three points.

Madrid started the game well. They were already able to take the lead in the 16th minute.

Vinicius Junior stabbed in from the left side. He then released a pass to the front of the goal that Rodrygo could snatch into a goal.

Madrid had scored the third goal in the 81st minute. Vinicius was freed from the escort and then fired a flat shot that nestled to the right of the goal. However, this goal was disallowed because Vinicius was offside.

In the final minute, Braga pressed for an equalizing goal. Their efforts failed to bear fruit.

The score of 2-1 for Madrid ended the match.
