Gabriel Martinelli's shot hit Nathan Ake and outwitted Ederson Moraes. It became the only goal in this game.

With this result, Arsenal climbed to second place with 20 points, losing a goal to Tottenham Hotspur. Manchester City dropped to third place with 18 points after two consecutive defeats.

Arsenal are trying to increase their pressure. An effort from Martin Odegaard in the 75th minute just bounced away.

Arsenal took the lead in the 87th minute! Thomas Partey's long pass was bounced off Takehiro Tomiyasu to Kai Havertz, who passed the ball to Martinelli. Martinelli fired a fierce shot that hit Ake and outwitted Ederson.

Manchester City tried to catch up the rest of the time. But no other goals were scored.
