Manchester United started the match by facing Brentford's attacks that managed to penetrate the penalty area.

When injury time entered the third minute, Scott McTominay got the rebound of a Brentford player's sweeping attempt. The substitute midfielder fired a shot that nestled the ball in the Brentford goal. The score became 1-1.
For the rest of the game, Manchester United tried to score again and McTominay netted again against Brentford thanks to a header from Harry Maguire's assist. Manchester United won three crucial important points in a dramatic way.
