Spain coach Luis de la Fuente made nine changes to the starting XI from the game against Cyprus. Only Gavi and Robin Le Normand are back as starters.
Le Normand had already opened Spain's lead when the game just entered the fourth minute. He headed in a free-kick from Ferran Torres to put Spain 1-0 ahead.

Georgia equalized in the 10th minute. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia beat Unai Simon after completing a through pass from Giorgi Chakvetadze.
Ferran Torres restored Spain's lead in the 55th minute. Jose Gaya's cross from the left side was completed by Torres with a header.
Spain's lead increased in the 72nd minute. Luka Lochoshvili scored an own goal after his attempt to block Lamine Yamal's cross went into his net.
Thanks to this victory, Spain is firmly at the top of the Euro 2024 Qualifying Group A standings with 21 points from eight matches. Georgia is fourth with eight points.
