Inter got a chance in the eleventh minute. Marcus Thuram's hit ball from close range still did not meet the target.
Thuram threatened again five minutes later. This time his right-footed kickball was cleared out by Stefano Turati.
Lautaro Martinez scored in the 19th minute. His first-time shot was blocked out of Turati and only resulted in a corner.

GOAL! Inter broke the deadlock in the 42nd minute. Federico Dimarco put his name on the scoreboard.
Dimarco scored a spectacular goal with a long-range shot near the center line of the field. The ball bounced past Turati's reach and into the net while giving Inter a 1-0 lead until halftime.
PENALTY! Inter was rewarded with a white spot two minutes into the second half. Thuram was brought down by Frosinone defender Ilario Monterisi in the box.
GOAL! Hakan Calhanoglu stepped up as Inter's executor and successfully broke Frosinone's goal from 12 passes. The Nerazzurri pulled away 2-0.
Inter did not relax the attack after his second goal. Denzel Dumfries' header in the 51st minute still missed the goal.
Frosinone threatened again six minutes later. Cheddira's shot on target hit Inter's post.
The visitors again created a chance in the 64th minute. Riccardo Marchizza's left-footed try was parried by Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer.
Frosinone failed to score until the referee blew a long whistle. The match ended with Inter's 2-0 victory.
This victory brought Inter to the top of the Italian League standings with 31 points. Frosinone is stuck in 12th position with 15 points.
