Matthew Perry, Star of Friends
Matthew Perry, who stars in Friends as Chandler Bing is a Canadian-American actor. Perry was born on August 19, 1969, in Williamstown, Massachusetts.
She grew up in Ottawa, Canada. Perry attended elementary school with Justin Trudeau, the current Prime Minister of Canada.

His mother, Suzanne Morrison, is a journalist and was on the press staff of Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, Justin's father.
His father, John Bennett Perry, was an actor and model. As a child, Matthew Perry guest-starred on his father's television program, 240-Robert, in 1979.
Matthew Perry was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2002
Matthew Perry moved to Los Angeles, USA, as a teenager. After guesting on several TV programs, he landed the role of Chazz Russell on the series Boy Will Be Boys from 1987 to 1988.
He has also starred in the series Growing Pains and Sydney after Boys Will Be Boys.

Her name soared thanks to the series Friends, alongside Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer.
Perry played the sarcastic and commitment-phobic Chandler Bing for 10 seasons.
Because of that role, Perry managed to get nominated for the Emmy Awards in 2002.
When Friends ended in 2004, Perry starred in Aaron Sorkin's Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip series, which ran on NBC for 22 episodes from 2006-2007.
In 2011, Perry also co-created the series Mr. Sunshine but ABC stopped airing the series after nine episodes.
Perry then starred in The Odd Couple alongside Thomas Lennon for three seasons from 2015 to 2017.
She also appeared in the drama The End of Longing in London starting in 2016 and starred in Fools Rush In, The Whole Nine Yards, Serving Sara, and 17 Again.
Severe Addiction to Alcohol and Vicodin
In his personal life, Perry in 2013 admitted to abusing alcohol and Vicodin prescribed by doctors after a jetski accident in 1997.
Perry then founded Perry House, a residential facility for male ex-drinkers, in his old Malibu home.
In 2015, he was honored for his advocacy by the Phoenix House Treatment Center regarding drug use.
Perry also praised her friends from Friends who always accompanied Perry in his illness with his alcohol and drug addiction.
Matthew Perry passed away at the age of 54 years, on Saturday (10/28/2023). He died allegedly due to drowning in a jacuzzi tub.
