RIIZE's Seunghan Hiatus Due to Mental Stress
SM Entertainment announced that RIIZE's Seunghan went on hiatus due to mental stress. Of course, the break by the idol whose full name is Hong Sung-han is carried out from group activities for an indefinite time.

As a result, Seunghan proposed an intention to take a break from activities with RIIZE. The wish was then agreed upon by SM Entertainment the agency that oversees Seunghan RIIZE.
RIIZE to Promote with Six Members and Without Seunghan
Seunghan feels mental pressure and takes responsibility for this. So after pondering, he conveyed his intention to stop activities with the group," SM Entertainment said in a statement on social media, Wednesday (11/22).
"Respecting his opinion that he no longer wants to cause harm to the team and members, we have decided to cease his activities indefinitely," the agency continued.

SM Entertainment then stated that Seunghan's activities stopped as of today, Wednesday (11/22). RIIZE will then continue activities with a six-member formation, namely Wonbin, Sohee, Shotaro, Sungchan, Eunseok, and Anton.
The agency apologized for the sudden announcement. SM also asked fans to understand this difficult situation and needs a lot of consideration.
The agency also admitted responsibility for his negligence despite various issues and problems that hit Seunghan before he debuted.
"Therefore, RIIZE will be promoting with six members and without Seunghan starting today [November 22]," SM Entertainment said. "We once again apologize profusely to the fans."
SM Entertainment explained the various allegations that hit Seunghan in recent times. The agency said Seunghan's videos and photos leaked on the internet were taken while he was still a trainee.
Seunghan was thrust into the public spotlight after being accused of disrespecting SSERAFILM's Eunchae LE in a private live broadcast.
Sometime after that, he was again hit by oblique rumors when a video emerged that allegedly Seunghan was smoking. Another oblique issue hit Seunghan again when a controversial text message allegedly sent by the idol circulated.
The content was then re-uploaded several times to cause misunderstandings. Those who uploaded the videos and photos are also claimed to be using malicious means to spread misinformation.
SM Entertainment confirmed that it is currently considering legal action against the disseminators of the photos and videos. The disseminators, SM said, could potentially be sued for alleged defamation of illegal acts.
"We are considering additional legal action against the individual, not only for defaming the artist but also for various illegal acts such as cybercrime and threats," the agency said.
Meanwhile, Seunghan will make his debut with RIIZE in September 2023. The boy group debuted with the release of a single titled Get A Guitar.
