In 2015, he created a company that sells processed marijuana under the name Leaf by Snoop. Even at the 2021 MTV Movie Awards, he made a sensation by walking on the red carpet while smoking marijuana.
Not only that, Snoop Dogg also made a controversial statement by admitting to smoking marijuana 81 cigarettes per day. But earlier this year, he admitted to cutting back on smoking after officially becoming a grandfather. In an interview with DailyMail, he admitted that he wanted to live a healthier lifestyle so that he could see his grandson grow up.
"Being a grandfather has changed me in so many ways," he said.
"The main thing is to think about the way I live, the way I move, what kind of people I hang out with, because I want to see my grandchildren grow up. The only way I can do that is to take precautions in terms of how I move, who I hang out with, where I go, my intake, what I consume?"
Snoop Dogg also appeared in 1992 where he was a collaborator on Dr. Dre's album The Chronic which became another term for marijuana leaves.
A year later he also released his debut album titled Doggystyle which sold well and sold up to 800 thousand copies in just one week. This also made him one of the most famous and influential rappers to date.
