Amber's appearance is the first time in more than a year that her defamation case with Johnny Depp has surfaced publicly.
Amber Heard Looks Stunning in Long Black Dress
The 37-year-old actress admitted that she was very happy to be involved in the film In The Fire.
"This is a beautiful film about the supernatural and the power of love. It's about the boundaries that love can cross, and really about the incredible power that love has," Heard said as reported by People, Sunday (6/25/2023).
Walking the red carpet, Amber Heard appeared in a long black dress. Her hair is styled in tight curls that fall around her shoulders and she wears thick red lipstick.
In the film, Heard plays a psychiatrist trying to treat a desperate child.
Set in 1899, In The Fire follows a 38-year-old American psychiatrist to solve the case of a child with a mental disorder called demonic possession.
In the Fire is directed by Conor Allyn and costar Eduardo Noriega who also attended the premiere at the Taormina Film Festival.
The Fire marks Heard's first appearance promoting a film since her defamation case with Depp ended.
