The additional three points make Real Madrid now top the 2023/2024 La Liga standings with 24 points from nine games, two points ahead of Girona in second position. Osasuna is in 10th place with 10 points.

The game only lasted nine minutes, Madrid had opened the lead through Jude Bellingham. The Englishman received Dani Carvajal's pull pass, holding the ball for a while, before firing into the top side of the net.
The goal made it easier for Madrid to control the game and continue to press Osasuna's defense. Vinicius had one chance in the 24th minute with a curling shot, but it was still wide.
Joselu wasted a golden opportunity in the 45th minute when left to face goalkeeper Sergio Herrera. Bellingham's measured pass was shot by Joselu into the side of the goal.

Entering in the second half, Madrid increased the intensity of the attack to add another goal. As a result, Bellingham scored again in the 54th minute and made the score 2-0.
Bellingham got the ball from Eduardo Camavinga and got past an Osasuna player to play a 1-2 pass with Fede Valverde in front of the box. Once inside the box, Bellingham sent it past Herrera's legs.
Madrid's lead increased to 3-0 in the 65th minute when Vinicius put his name on the scoreboard. A quick counterattack was preceded by Camavinga's through pass that led to Vinicius.
Escaping the offside trap, Vinicius got into the box, past Herrera, before blasting the ball into an empty net.
Five minutes later, Joselu put his name on the scoreboard. Vinicius got the ball in front of the penalty area and protected it from the opponent's ambush while waiting for Joselu to enter the penalty area.
The ball was then passed to Joselu who easily punted from close range to make the score 4-0.
Dani Carvajal also had a chance to score in the 78th minute, but his pass flew over the bar.
Joselu had a chance to score his second goal had his 84th-minute penalty not gone right into Herrera's arms. The score of 4-0 lasted until the game was over.
